Is the Obama administration that dumb that the treasury secretary can sit there with a straight face and chastise the American financial system about how they pay the employees to discourage excessive risk taking. That's like the pot calling the kettle black! "This crisis was caused in part by the fact that compensation practices just got way divorced from reality," Geithner said. "So it is very important that the financial industry change those compensation practices so they are no longer providing strong incentives for excessive short-term risk taking."

How dare Secretary Geithner try and tell any industry that they need to do a better job, when he himself can't even pay his income taxes. How dare you Secretary Geithner or anyone in the Obama administration try and tell any private company how they should or should not pay their employees. The Obama administration is pushing for a revamp of compensation practices throughout the financial industry, not just at banks receiving government bailout funds.
President Obama you and your administration needs to enforce the laws on the books and step up enforcement and not penalize the people that are working within the confines of the law and trying to do a good job for themselves and their families.
Just remember Mr President and esteemed members of Congress you work for the people, that's right you work for us not the other way around.
